We look forward to welcoming you to Birmingham, Alabama on April 7, 2019 for CMV 2019, the 7th International Congenital CMV Conference and the 17th International CMV Workshop.
 
We are excited for the exchange of knowledge, generation of new ideas, and the scientific discussions that CMV2019 will bring to the CMV research field. We, along with the scientific organizing committee, hope to put together an engaging program that will integrate a diversity of topics related to CMV leading to productive and fruitful discussions among clinicians, scientists and families. We also look forward to lively oral and poster session discussions!

ABOUT

The 7th International Congenital CMV Conference & 17th International CMV Workshop will take place in Birmingham, Alabama from 07 – 11 April 2019. The aim of this event is to help accelerate the prevention and cure of CMV disease by bringing the expertise of clinicians and scientists together in one forum. Both international meetings have been combined in order to enhance the translation from basic research to clinical practice and vice-versa to inspire basic scientists by highlighting the clinical problems and disease burden of CMV. This Conference attracts approximately 350 attendees and is relevant to Clinicians (including Pediatricians, Neonatologists, Gynecologists and Obstetricians, Transplantation Surgeons and Physicians), Researchers (including Microbiologists, Epidemiologists, Immunologists and Vaccinologists), Public Health Professionals, Childcare Providers, Parents, Students, Foundations & Advocacy Organizations, Intervention Developers and Providers, and Vaccine Developers.
